Reading the complaints on this site I was surprised. I have been a subscriber for many years now and I have always had a good experience. Friends always get their cards and they are very pleased. I just signed up for another two years. The cards are beautiful and the classical music is lovely. I also like the orginal music. I can understand complaints about customer service if you have a bad experience. But don't understand the complaints about the artwork, music or speed of the animation. These are beautiful, artistic and witty cards.....if you want flashy, find another ecard site. Also great for pet lovers, too. My pet lover friends love them. I have never had any problem with this site. I would say give it a try. Also, you can put in email addresses, save birthdays, etc so I would take the time to put all these in when you join. Maybe try a short term (day) subscription before you buy. I love these cards and the site. Advent Calendar for 2011 worked great for me. They are witty and fun. However, it helps if you know a little about English Christmas customs, or some Christmas carols - or just about Christmas in general to appreicate their sweetness and gentle humor. I have added my own text to customize them for religious holidays and this works for me. And after all, an Advent Calendar IS about Christmas....duh......
