Jacquie Lawson is an outstanding English artist producing these cards & calendars. Lawson sold her website to AMERICAN GREETINGS (2006),2nd largest greeting card company in the world(annual sales of $1.7 BILLION. Members could easily be billed for the calendars activated instead of those ordered.Demand refund on calendars activated and call your credit card company. American Greetings is the greedy guy-not Jacquie!

I should have said \"demand refund on calendars NOT activated\". JL is a company of 5 people- the customer service should be coming from American Greetings e-card support. Check your credit card billing- the billing for your advent calendars is from American Greetings.

The calendars are outstanding as are the cards. I don't think most people would care if some of the calendars were not activated or didn't work on recipients computers, if the money really went to the artist. But why do we want to give charity to a $1.7 billion corporation, masquerading as a cottage industry in England.
