I rented a van from CVS a couple of weeks ago to help my brother move house up to Manchester. He didn't have much stuff so there was no need to hire a removals company. CVS were very friendly from the outset and gave me an unbeatable quote, making the move much more affordable than if we'd used a removals company. Bought this vehicle new in September 2012 and sold it after 10 months. Fuel consumption is pathetic for a modern diesel DPF regenerations occurred every 500 miles during which engine ran rough and impossible to get a smooth gear change from 1st to 2nd gear. Spoke to VX on numerous occasions and they just passed this off as being normal. Started having problems whilst moving off from rest, this started with around 3,000 miles on the clock. Strange noises coming from gearbox area which to… Read Full Review

I have a Dodge minivan now, and with 40,000 miles on my new car, it is on the original brake pads and rotors. On the Uplander, it would chew through brake pads, and I had to have the rotors machined every other time I went to get an oil change. I had… Read Full Review

This car, for me, marks the watershed between costly tree-hugger mascot and viable every-day transport. First, let's consider the every-day scenarios: Sure there will be journeys that exceed the battery-range and everyone that I meet seems to focus on this. In reality, these more-conventional motorists run around with enough fuel onboard to get to John O'Groats. When in fact they are just driving the local supermarket or taking the daily commute to work. I'm told that's (an average of) just 16… Read Full Review
