Eleven weeks after making a claim for a skin problem, six phonecalls later, I'm still waiting for a measly £65(two weeks after they said it had been passed for payment) The vets made us pay in advance because they won't accept e&l as a guarantee of payment due to past problems. They won't pay full out of hours fees and constantly change the policy small print. I feel sorry for their staff because they've all been good on the phone but they don't have a clue. I got my first quote with Go Girl because it was the cheapest and I was 18 so I didn't want to pay too much! It was £1,400 for comprehensive cover. Within 1 month of driving, I had a minor accident where someone went into the back of me. I reported it (not as a claim) to the insurers. Unfortunately the driver who went into me, is saying I had put my car into reverse and reversed into her car, so with no witnesses they have to take her story into consideration too. Do not ever use insurance broker. Customer Service is absolutely shocking. Average time to answer a call is 38mins. Complete rip off for any policy amendments. Claims team are a complete joke - such poor handling of my no-fault claim that my vehicle was disposed of before an engineer inspected it. After 8 weeks and 103 phone calls to sort out the claim I gave up and sorted out the claim direct with the insurer.
