Bought new Panasonic combi microwave NN-CT880MBPQ. Failed entirely after 13 days - the display disappeared & the turntable went round by itself every time the door was opened. After much argument Panasonic agreed to send it to their service centre. Service centre lost it, found it, and then told porkies about when it would be returned. Finally got it back after 2 weeks + with the door obviously misaligned. I thought this was annoying but cosmetic and I needed to use it as it was Christmas.... (read more)

I've had the Kenwood BM450 bread maker for a couple of months now and it has been excellent. With no previous experience I've produced a series of really nice loaves with very little effort. I started with packet mixes but it is very easy to use with separate ingredients and that has given me nicer (and cheaper) loaves. As seems to be the case with all bread makers the key thing is accurately measuring your ingredients then adding them to the pan in the right order. But this takes no time at... (read more)

The supports are not practical as they only have 4 points of contact. Even if you have a flat pan, the weight of the handle can topple it if the handle is not directly above or in-line with one of the support points. This is a safety hazard. I spoke to their helpline and they say no-one else has complained about this! I do not agree. The supports need a bit more metal around the circumference...this is why you usually have round or bigger square supports which are continuous at the outer... (read more)

Looks nice. Makes nice toast if you have your wits about you first thing in the morning. If you unplug it after use (as Dualit recommend to avoid the fire hazard), you will find that when you do want to use it you have to remember to plug it back in. Sounds obvious, but the timer switch makes a loud clicking noise which gives you the impression it's making your toast, when in fact it is simply clicking loudly round and the toaster isn't switched on.
