This has just happened to us, on saturday morning, our washing machine got louder and louder making a 'thudding' noise, as my mum walked over to it asking whats that noise, and as it got much louder she pressed the power button and held it in and the power went off, then a massive bang! the glass exploded all over our floor even reaching the other end of the room and hitting the ceiling! luckily with only a couple of scratches on my arm, my mum wasnt hurt, but it was bad enough! the clothes inside...

Hi, this dryer has a fab idea with the water collection unit on the door. You can see how much water is in the tank, it is easy to pick up and empty the water out, it also of reminds you to empty the tank and you do not get back issues bending down to the tank like on other dryers. However: The tank on the door has given us problems. After a month of use I noticed water on the bottom of the door and on to the floor. I thought it was something with the water missing the tank, no.... After some study...

Fisher and Paykel DD 603 Double Drawer

Bought this product and have had nothing but problems with it. Apart from the fact that it doesn't clean as well as cheaper makes I have had previously, it has broken down 3 times!! The breakdown is the same problem everytime and very expensive to fix. I could just about deal with the useless product IF the customer support was good but, unfortunately it is even worse than the product. Very unhelpful, basically got told the last time I spoke to them that I should be aware that these days things...

Servis M9310 (Easi Logic 1300)

I recently bought a new flat and inherited a brand new looking servis washer drier. I had, fortunately, declined to buy it from the previous owner but they left it anyway. It's ok on basic washes but the drier is rubbish. It kept filling with dirty water but I emptied the filter (bottom right hand corner) so that is now resolved. I just suspect it is a basic model but it's performance is not adequate! So it's got to go!...

Redfern Eurosteam

I bought tHe Redfern Eurosteam iron 2 years ago at a home show after watching the demonstration. I don' t dread ironing anymore. It works on even delicate materials. No more ironing the entire pair of pants & then holding them up and still seeing wrinkles, and you don't have to keep going over the area, just a push with your finger on the steam button as you go. it's great if you can see it in action like I did. I use distilled water as they suggested and never add more water than the measuring...
