I bought 2 of them 2 years ago, started them bith up about 1 1/2 years ago and now can't get them going. Needed them this past week and couldn't get either one going. On one a piece of the gas handle broke off when I turned it on, doesn't matter anyway as they don't run. I was really disapointed when I could not find a customer rep or tech support. All I can say is be careful of what you buy. (read more)

I bought Challenge Xtreme Hammer Drill and Screwdriver as a set 11 months ago from Argos. As I have my old Black and Decker corded drill from last century and a cheap Wickes screwdriver the Challenge set has had a very easy life. 1st. the Challenge Screwdriver just couldn't cope with 11/14" No. 6 screws into predrilled holes. (Made a screaming sound after attempting 3 and stopped working!) Never mind my old Wickes one did over 120 before asking to be recharged and is again up and ready to... (read more)

The jaws of the Black & Decker Alligator look fearsome when they’re wide open but when you place a tree branch between them and squeeze the handles together, you realise how friendly this animal is. With far less effort than a bow saw and much less potential risk than a conventional chain saw, the alligator is perfect for anyone who occasionally needs to cut up logs and branches up to 100mm (4”) thick. The alligator is a very clever tool that combines the technology of a pair of garden... (read more)

I used the chain saw twice with no problems. The third time could not get it to start. Took to the store where i purchased and they said the carb was bad. The salesman tried to get me to spend the extra 100 for the MS211 saw but i didn't. In less than one month the carb had to be replaced. Saw also is low on power for a tree trunk of any size. Compare this saw to my poulan pro and i will take my poulan! (read more)
