LAPLAND UK. Parts of it were great. The beginning, making the toys, decorating biscuits, felt like you were going to another world. The end with Santa was also good but the middle hour and a half was really disappointing and boring. Not so much an ice rink as somewhere for the children to injure themselves as you could no more skate on it than in my front room. I just returned from Enontekio last night having been on day trip with my husband,daughter and 2 grandchildren aged 6 and 7. I cannot fault a thing.Everything ran very smoothly and the whole experience was truly magical from checking in for flight to arriving back home.I travelled to Lapland 6 years ago with my older grandson having booked with Canterbury Travel.It too was magical but our Transun trip was every bit as good. Absolutely delightful! The smell of good food and hot chocolate everywhere! The stalls are lovely and although I did not buy anything, they would be great to buy a few little gifts for Christmas. Some things were very overpriced but it was worth looking around first and then going back to the stalls you liked. The ice skating was really good and at night the ice rink looked beautiful!
