This is strictly a freeride board, not made for jumps and tricks so it is not a surprise yours broke. This is a great board to learn on and just ride down the mountain. If you want to jump, get a different board. The flexibility of the board is perfect for those who love riding fast down the mountain. I would recommend this board for the beginner/ person who only goes once a while to just ride. (read more)

5 Stars for Vintage Tech still Current: Why ski wimpy skis?? I am a somewhat aggressive female skier and love the 150cm Atomic C11's -which are slightly better than my R10's for eastern hard-pack I ski. High performance: Damp yet Quick Turns with Stability..holds very well at high speeds chatter-free. Make any turn-style you want w these unlike race skis. Salomon X-Wing Tornado

I have just returned from 2 weeks at Snowmass Aspen where I rented Salomon Tornado Xwing skis. I recognised immediately how good they were for fast or speed controlled skiing on groomed piste, powder and even a few runs through the trees. I demo-ed Rossignol Richtor and Volkl skis as a comparison, the Volkl's being excellent also.
I liked the Tornados so much I bought a pair (US$849) and brought then back to Australia. Highly recommend. (read more)

Fosi Lynx Helmet Band

This new product is a fantastic idea. Before I saw this product at the Ski and Board Show, I would have never worn a helmet but it makes even me look good in a helmet and that's saying something! The Fosi helmet band is a very simple band of faux fur that fits onto any helmet and makes it look like a glamorous hat!
