I ordered Moroccan Dirham through their website for collection today. I arrived at the branch and presented the order form. They took payment from my debit card. I was then told that they did not have enough Moroccan Dirham to pay me and that I had to wait for two hours. They offered no apology and so they had to refund my entire payment. Got the card so we could pay the road tolls as we travel through France to Spain - around 200 euros. The card could not be used at the tolls - a real pain. It could be used wherever a pin machine was available - restaurants, petrol supermarkets etc. We were able to access money via ATM machines which recognise the card and give instructions in English. Shame the card did not meet out main requirements but a safe way to carry Euros - just make sure you don't loose the card!! Will use it again... (read more)

I don't think the website is very clear as to the logistics of sending money abroad. I had to call the CS centre (in Canada) with questions. All told, I have managed to transfer sterling in euros with 2 cents extra in every pound, compared to my bank and also without charges (£25, from Nationwide). Now I get it - I'll be using it a lot in the future. (read more)

Travelling through rural Europe on a motorcycle, often camping, it is often very difficult to use high denomination euro notes. I requested a maximum denomination of 50 euro notes in my order -- and received 10 x 100 euro notes in the cash. Typical of modern industry, possibly too much pressure on staff to allow them to properly read through the added message with the order. Then again it could just be apathy . . .
