I filled out the paperwork online. Talked with these guys online but they demanded so much paperwork to open an account - guarantor signature, copies of drivers license, passport, etc. etc. I told them that I don't waste time trying to open an account unless I know it is worth it. So I asked them to give me the transaction exchange rates (selling and buying) if I was going to trade today (with no commitment) in order to estimate the spread. Post Office Travel Money Card

Had got this card as alternative to taking travellers cheques and found it easy at start. But then whilst abroad, we had problem with the card and this was where the problems started. Not very helpful on phone and then couldn't get issue sorted with card so ended up having to find other sources to pay. Was disappointed (read more)

The service was great except for one glitz when they put a hold on the money I sent and has to go through a check clearing house, which took 4 days to go through and my sister ( my recipient) needed the money right away. I was very upset about it but the manager at Xoom's customer service centre, helped me out and even gave me a coupon for my fee and I was able to send money to my sister right away.

This was the first time I had used Sell Us Your Currency and can recommend their service to anyone. I had a slight hiccup with my order online when trying to print the returns payment form this was not their fault but my browser service restricting pop-ups.
