Was a customer with this bank for over 10 years. Started off Okay, then around 2013, it went downhill. Basic instructions about account were not carried-out, emails were not answered. Staff lied to me when I called them to follow-up (said they had to get approval from Head office). Lack of information about account. So, they would randomly auto-renew NRFC Fixed Deposit accounts. I have had nothing but problems with this company. I had a card transaction done on my account 256 pounds that I did not know about I contacted Ffrees after I went through my statements. Its now nearly a month later and still they have not returned my money and said it can take up to 50 days its a joke a high street bank can do it in a day. I totally agree with previous reviews, I was begining to think it was me! I too was forced to migrate, I resisted for about 6 months. Training was poor I was told that the reports were brillant except I can't print out a report listing just the benficiaries that I have paid, no its prints the entire list wether they have been paid or not, Navigation is complicated, its very slow loading at times, look up feature well I neve manage yet to find a beneficiary Beneficiaries are not list A-Z. First of all I would like to make the point that people are more inclined to write a negative review if they have had bad service than write a review for good service. I opened my first current account with Metro Bank in March 2013 after being fed up with the incompetence of Santander after they took over Alliance and Leicester which was who I banked with.
