    Excellent product, obviously not as powerful as a petrol hedge trimmer, but its also no where near as loud, heavy or expensive either. I have beech and conifer hedges and it coped with ease.     I bought this Bosch AXT Rapid 2200w Shredder after reading the reviews on this, and other websites I was very impressed at how well it copes with a wide variety of garden material.
