  • Mazda 3 Overview

    The 2007 Mazda 3 combines family practicality, fuel consumption and around town nimbleness with considerable oomph. Options include up to a 148 horsepower, 2.0 litre engine and a choice of two distinct body styles - 4-door saloon and 5-door hatchback. Plus a selection of special editions. Drivers identify good build quality, responsive engines, nice interiors and distinctive looks; as well as great value for money.

  • Mazda 3 History

    The Mazda 3 was a stylish mid size compact launched for 2004 with five trim levels - two base trims - i Sport and Touring; and S Sport, S Touring and S Grand Touring. The hatchback came only in the S trims with the rear seats in the hatchback folding down to nearly double the amount of storage. The range has expanded since then. In 2005 Mazda released a SP23 Special Edition as a top of the line trim for both body styles. The line up was further revamped in 2007 with some improved specification and better choice of styles. 2007 models offer the sporty 5-door hatchback with its muscular front and rear wheel arches and front grille; and the 4-door saloon with more subtle curves and a coupe-style roof line. Hatchback models will manage up to 126mph and 0-62 mph in 9.9 secs.

    The Mazda 3 was revitalised for 2007, offering either 4-door, 5-passenger family saloon, or estate. It was available in 8 trims - from the i Sport 4-Door to the S Grand Touring 5-Door version. A major features is the choice of advanced engines, including the MZR petrol range offering up to 150ps (110kW) of power and the latest MZ-CD common-rail turbo diesel engines. Whichever engine you choose it comes with the latest smooth 5-speed or 6-speed manual transmissions. An optional 4-speed Activematic transmission is also available.

  • Mazda3 MPS Key Features

    Mazda 3 comes with MZR DISI Turbo engine with 260ps at 3,500rpm, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Traction Control System (TCS), Limited Slip Differential (LSD) and 18ins alloy wheels in 10-spoke design. MPS Sports styling with unique body coloured front grille and bonnet is also available as well as aerodynamic front and rear bumpers, distinctive side skirts and rear lip spoiler, leather sports seats and large chrome exhaust trim. Optional Sport Aero Kit including sports rear spoiler is also available. Standard features include 15inch steel wheels, audio system with single CD player and four speakers, driver, front passenger and front side airbags, remote central locking with jack-knife key, and front electric windows. Also comes with ISOFIX child seat anchorages, seatbelt reminder for front and rear seats, optional manual air conditioning and grey cloth interior.
