    Audi A4 is a luxury compact executive car, on sale since 1994. Available as a saloon, estate and convertible, with a full choice of petrol or diesel engines, the A4 has been regularly updated, bringing it in line with all the latest technological advances. The latest models are the best yet with a modern, pioneering design including sporty exterior stylings and excellent interior and specification list, including climate controlled seats, Audi Side Assist and Audi Lane Assist and advanced parking systems. Audi A4 3.0 TDI Quattro diesel will manage 155mph and 0-62 in 6.1 while the 3.2 FSI Quattro has a similar top speed of 155mph and will do 0-62mph in 6.2 secs. Audi A4 also has a particularly good record for its safety features.

    Audi A4 standard interior equipment includes 1-zone climate control, 12V power socket in boot, 4-spoke leather steering wheel, door sill trims in aluminium optic, electric front and rear windows, electromechanical parking brake, front and rear floor mats, intelligent key, micro metallic inlays, rear armrest, steering column adjustment for rake and reach. Standard A4 exterior equipment includes auto-opening boot lid, electrically operated and heated exterior mirrors. Other standard features include 7.5J x 16 7-arm design alloy wheels with 225/55 R16 tyres and locking wheel bolts, space-saving spare wheel, Audi Chorus audio system single CD-player with 6.5 monochrome display and 4 x 80 watts loudspeakers. Cloth seats with manual height adjustment and split folding rear seats are also standard.

    Audi A4 Safety And Security systems include Drivers Information System (DIS), daytime running lights, ESP, First aid kit, front and rear ISOFIX seats with front passenger airbag de-activation switch, front side airbags, headlight range adjustment, Thatcham category 1 alarm and immobilizer, toolkit and car jack, warning triangle and front and rear fog lights. Special features include choice of Audi Parking System Plus which aids parking by acoustically and graphically indicating distances to obstacles in front of and behind your A4. Similarly Audi Parking System Advanced helps your parking by acoustically and visually indicating distances to obstacles in front of and behind your A4 with guiding lines. Measured by ultrasonic sensors with camera integrated discreetly in the boot handle the latest Audi A4s also benefits from Audi Side Assist which aids the driver when changing lane. Audi Side Assist monitors the area behind your A4, using radar sensors located discreetly in the rear bumper and inform the driver with a visual warning signal in the door mirror if there is a vehicle in the blind spot. Audi Lane Assist uses a camera at the top of the windscreen to monitor the road ahead. The driver is warned with a vibration of the steering wheel if the vehicle is about to exit the lane unintentionally.     Audi A4 benefits from Quattro 4 wheel drive technology. In the same way that four brakes ensure better deceleration, four permanently driven wheels

    deliver better acceleration and road holding. Audi Quattro technology allows you to push or pull the car as needed, improving safety. Quattro permanent four-wheel-drive also provides a more sporty drive and one that is dynamic and safe.


    Audi A4 Petrol Or Diesel?


    All Audi A4 petrol engines feature FSI direct-injection technology which was developed by Audi for the Le Mans 24-hour race. FSI produces advanced power, torque and fuel efficiency by creating precise amounts of fuel and air into the combustion chambers. This allows the engine to breathe more easily while electronics monitor the engine load and adjust injection. This results in reduced heat-loss and increased output, with a 15 per cent reduction in fuel consumption and lower exhaust emissions. All A4 diesel TDI engines are based on the common rail system storing fuel and maintaining constant pressures of up to 1,600 bar, ready to feed a series of highly accurate Piezo injectors, which control the rate and point of injection. TDI technology promises power, performance, low fuel consumption and reduced CO2 emissions.
