    Audi TT launched in 1999 and has been a success story ever since with sales of the TT increasing annually along with high levels of acclaim for its design and performance. Available as coup and roadster body styles, both are offered with Quattro four wheel drive and S tronic automatic transmission technology.


    Audi TT Latest Models


    The Audi TT 3.2 Quattro TT is capable of reaching a top speed of 155mph and will manage 0-62mph in 5.7 seconds. Audi TT 2008 models come with a 3-spoke flat-bottom leather steering wheel and aluminium interior detailing. All TT models feature front sports seats with fine Nappa leather, climate control and aerodynamic rear spoiler. The spoiler automatically extends as soon as the car reaches 74 mph. Part of the reason for the TTs reputation for supreme road handling and acceleration is Audis Quattro four-wheel-drive technology. Audi pioneered 4wheel drive in performance cars and its success in rallying is proof of its capabilities.     Audi TT Transmission

    You probably want to know what is so special about the famed Audi TT transmission? Well, the S tronic gearbox combines the responsiveness of a conventional 6-speed manual gearbox with the smooth power of automatic transmission. The S tronic gearbox uses a double clutch consisting of two lubricated plates with hydraulically-regulated contact pressure. One engages the odd-numbered, the other the even-numbered gears, enabling gear-shifts to be made in a fraction of a second, with no disruption to the power flow. There is a full choice of auto or the S tronic system, using the gear lever or steering wheel shift-paddles at your disposal. You can also choose short-shift manual transmission. The shorter distance between each shift minimises the effort of changing gears and maximises the fun and performance of your Audi TT.

    Audi TT Selected Standard Features


    A special feature of the Audi TT is the retractable rear spoiler which deploys and retracts automatically at set speeds or with the help of the centre console button. Other Audi TT features include 3-spoke Sports flat bottom design leather steering wheel, trapez design alloy wheels, leather/alcantara upholstery, electronic climate control, electric front windows, twin exhaust pipes on left-hand side and split-folding rear seat. There is a fully automatic electrically-operated soft top which opens in 12 seconds with integrated wind deflector (Roadster only). Other features include sat nav and MP3 compatible audio system with CD player, radio, 9 loud speakers and 5-channel amplifier.


    Audi TT Standard Safety


    Audi TT standard Safety and security technology includes Anti-Slip Regulation (asr) traction control, driver and front passenger airbags, side airbags for front seats, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Driver Information System, servotronic speed-sensitive power assisted steering, Electronic Differential Lock (EDL) traction control and Electronic Stability Programme (ESP). A First-aid kit, Thatcham Category 1 approved anti-theft device, warning triangle and locking wheel bolts are also included. Also comes with roll-over protection hoops (for the Roadster only) and Front ISOFIX and front passenger airbag de-activation switch. Other features include auto-dimming, folding, electrically operated and heated door mirrors, ISOFIX child-seat preparation for outer rear seats (Coup only) and Xenon Plus headlights with adaptive light halogen headlights and front and rear fog lights. Includes headlight-washer system and automatic-dynamic headlight leveling.
