I am very concerned with 'Stardoll' and running of. I have my own credit card and played religiously until I was unwell for a few months and they deleted my account it seems! I have spent so much into this game and am very angry they are not returning emails. This is fraudalant activity. They take vulnerable peoples money and do what they want. I am not a child as such but I worry to think about the brainwashing and money taking they do with kids....this can't be right. Also a lot of the message boards have topics which you wouldn't rate for kids eyes...About violence and innapropriate subjects which this review wont let me post... bullies....I'm starting to think an official complaint and action should be made against this group and I will look into this further.
No thanks to Stardoll.
Parents review the site before letting your children play as it can be a bully site and also contains explicit content...

As I mentioned to another member who with their money has been taken very much advantaged of. "STARDOLL" is a Mattel creation and as such in the long run is responsible. Where you don't suceed with "stardoll" converse and send your emails or mail to Mattel.

P.S. If your truely serious about your grievence don't back down. Even if you leave the site I've noticed many people in the same position as you, and just as confused as what to do and where to go. Put the word out you might be suprised how many respond when they need help too.............

This may be your personal view, and you have had a bad experience on stardoll, and I'm sorry about that. I'm sorry that you can't enjoy stardoll, like millions of others. But don't make a complaint about an issue that you've had, because this review may encourage others to re-think one of the things they love - stardoll, by complaining you may ruin stardoll, for others also there are a lot more safety precautions, like in parties, you can get banned from that party for using bad language, or when you broadcast you only have a select amount of words you can use, it's the same with naming a party and your blog and guestbook is monitored and you can't post anything explicit. Of course there are going to be stupid immature people on stardoll, but you get them everywhere that's not stardoll's fault, Maybe your account got hacked, there are a lot of hacker losers out there, again not stardolls fault, no website's perfect!

To 'guest' I believe I have a right to share my experience as it has happened to others as well ad most people don't speak up as they are kids and don't know how to or are afraid...
I do not like to see that happening....I am truthful in my account and if truth hurts...I wasn't hacked I was away for a while and they now don't recognize my account when I enter but my credit card does !! I put a lot of money into this site !! It is my right and I'm sorry if it offends you but it should be public knowledge and parents DO have the right to review their childrens activity as I know there are immature people everywhere but some kids are a lot more vulnerable and would take a lot of the nasty and explicit content to heart. That responsibility lies with the childrens parents and stardoll to make sure everyone has a fun, safe time....I don't want a CHILD going through the stress I have...

This is for both Kaissandra and the Guest following this conversation: I am a grown woman and old enough to be some of the young girls that visit this sites grandmother. Apparently one (1) issue became two (2) so I'm going to speak to both. If the adult is putting in or paying the money for the account the adult has the right to know whats going on but even more important ""Were talking about young girls here"" and should be monitored to some degree. I love both BARBIES and STARDOLLS (that includes the stardoll site) I am whats known as a fun collector ""I collect for fun and love of Barbies and enjoy them as such not for the money"". I came across the (creative)Stardoll site when I went to purchase the Angel dolls thats when I noticed several comments and complaints; the site itself is a good place for the young to be creative and find if they have a desire to maybe even one day continue to do this professionally so in that capacity it's wonderful but the parents have to remember there's 2 sides to every coin and if you don't keep a watch danger awaits on the other side and instead of paying hard earned money for the fun stuff your allowing the bad stuff, cause in the end it's still us adults and parents that should be the responsible ones.
