“Mass Effect a Reflection of Gaming Evolution”

To start off, I would like to say that this review will never do this game the justice it deserves. Mass Effect 3 not only amazed me with its pure brilliance and ingenuity but the shivers it sent down my spine could not be compared to any game I have ever played. The franchise of Mass Effect has always left me amazed and buying this game I thought this game would be the icing on the cake. I was wrong. This game was not the icing, it was the cake itself, the mixture and the final ingredient to make the franchise complete. The character development in this story of Shepard (the main character) and his team are so clear and precise it felt like you were watching a movie. Even with me skipping some of the cut scenes, (which I do not recommend because they are so good)I still saw how the characters interact with each other in game play! For those who have played the other Mass effects, the decisions you have made in the previous ones add about a bonus 2 hours to the game play. Even with me starting on level 30 from the previous games I still had a hard time reaching level 60. At the beginning of the game the Normandy is refit, and going through the ship you feel a sense of remembrance from memories of the previous games but also a sense of a new adventure because of the way the ship looks now. Going through the old rooms and entering into new ones always left me baffled how I actually felt emotions and remembered memories from the previous games. They perfected movement, accuracy and the physics of the game to be superior to any third person shooter I have played yet.

The Multiplayer experience was a new aspect to the single player based franchise. Similar to Gears of War horde mode, it was insane to go against waves and waves of different alien races to finally escape. The game in general is not for people who want an easy game to just breeze through. This game takes time and dedication. At parts, even on normal, you are stuck at the same checkpoint trying to blast away waves of demonic looking creature that if they get to close will tear you apart. Unlike other games, this game is fully dependent on every decision you make. Even by killing "a nobody" that decision ripples into each new part of the story creating a new story for each new character. I could keep saying how great this game and how much more there is to this game but I highly suggest picking it up and playing it. I know 60 is a lot but this is one of the best 60 dollars I have ever spent. GAME OF THE YEAR.
