DONT BUY FROM R&B

oh my goodness me, go to clarkes but don't go to r&b. £215 for a pair of shoes that were worn from the house to the car, from the car to a restaurant and then same in reverse to be left with chunks out of the sole. my daughter took them to the BLUEWATER store to ask for a refund, was told NO, this is normal wear and tear. She was then offered for the shoes to be sent to head office for them to be examined. H/O apparently deemed that this is fair wear and tear but as a gesture of good will would put a rubber sole on the base! My daughter has just spoken with BLUEWATER STORE MANAGER who laughed at her on the phone. She was unaware that my daughter had passed the phone to me, and I heard her  shout at "my daughter" before slamming the phone down. I telephoned the BLUEWATER store back straight away for the phone to be cut off a further 3 times. Finally I rang on my mobile and was answered by a male assistant, who found the manager for me. She was rude, short and at one point shushed me. I have been told that her store cannot make a decision on the shoes as it has been handed over to head office (this was their offer to my daughter as they refused her a refund) and I am now left with the option of having to telephone HEAD OFFICE and speak to the customer service manager. I asked if I could go to FARWIG LANE to discuss this matter face to face and was told NO. I asked if my daughter would be compensated for the time and money she has spent in trying to sort out this matter, again this was dismissed. I will update on what happens tomorrow, but trust me on this keep your money with you and go to Clarkes instead.
