The WAG160N is an attractive looking router - but do a Google on 'WAG160N problems' and you will soon find that there are numerous problems with it. Main problem is connectivity. Reboot your laptop - and you will invariably find that it will not reconnect to the router without re-booting the router as well. Add a wireless printer and next time you want to print anything you will find that the printer has disappeared from the network. Try to connect to this router with a mobile phone and you will find it impossible. When it is connected, it works well - but the constant need to reboot it (and wait several minutes while it does so) will drive you crazy. There are plenty of better alternatives.

Recently bought a Linksys WAG160N wireless router from Amazon at £69.99 including next day delivery. Prices vary on the web so check for best ones. If you have little understanding of networking then it is wise to check out how to set these devices up first. The router comes with a setup cd which has instructions relating to what is required and most settings are by default. In general, ensure you are able to setup security with passwords enabled and applied. The Linksys Network Advisor software is still a bit buggy so you may find that it says your network is down when it isnt. Overall, the device is a great design and is pretty straight forward to setup. I have read other reviews of this router but I didnt suffer any of the issues that some people have getting it to work.
