simple device with a not so simple set up. The instruction manual is written in Kinglish. It is nothing more than a box to extend your wireless range by it picking up the WiFi signal from your router and duplicating/pushing it from the new unit. If you dont have the one button setup facility on your home router, setup is best done by using a tablet, iphone, ipad or similar as trying the way the manual implies it should be done is frustrating. So, does it work? yes it does. It occasionally drop signal and needs turning off and on again, but it works fine. The light on the unit is either red, flashing yellow, yellow or green. red for no signal and not working. flashing yellow is hunting for a signal, yellow is not connected for some reason, and green is all is well. So that about it, once set up it repeats your WiFi signal. It means that I can now use an ipad in the back room where until recently it was a wifi dead spot. It allows you to push your routers wifi out to places in the house you couldnt previously reach. the only reason it doesnt get 5 stars is because the setup can be annoyingly fiddly until you work out the easy way, and the manual is less than impressive.
