This place has to be visited to appreciate. It is different from most other zoos you will see and when you visit you will see why. The animals are all so happy and friendly as are the staff. Particularly I enjoyed the animal handling session. You can go around the whole zoo twice in the day quite easily which you cannot say for all zoos, so you are guaranteed to not only have a great day out but you wont miss anything either. My favourite animal here is the beast of bodmin attraction, they have two black pumas which if you are a cat lover or a fan of big cats are the best attraction. Also get up close and personal to the meerkat who has made the news and been hand reared here. You will see the meerkat being taken for a walk around the zoo if you are lucky enough. Great value day out will be heading back up there again very soon. Lovely everythings here and a great gift shop to get souvenirs to remind you to get back there again asap! Exmoor Zoo is a treat for everyone to enjoy not to be missed. Also ignore the bad reports as they are rubbish, if you have something bad to say speak to the staff as they will reassure you of any issues you may have.
