When I look into my crystal ball, this is what I see….
MAKRO in Reading resembling a ghost town; a shadow of its former self, now in decline. Most of the customers have migrated to .... Booker, COSTCO, ALDI, LIDL or who knows where? ... the staff that are left are miserable, the produce is has turned luminescent and gone bad and so has the meat(at least the reduced stuff has)! The arrogant, annoying butcher has finally tied his long flowing hair up or better still cut it short!
and when I wake up …. I feel refreshed and the world doesn’t seem that bad after all.

The fish department in Reading is excellent, nothing is too much trouble for the guys who work there and they show a respect for the customers that you don't often see these days.

Reading Makro went downhill when they revamped the store a few years ago. Prices jumped up to TESCO level. They have recently revised the internal layout again. Does anybody really need so much garden furniture ?
