The products are filled with artificial sweeteners and GMOs, and are not nutritious or effective as weight-loss supplements. They are just cheaply made elixirs; the real money that Herbalife makes comes from scamming its "employees" with their "business model." Only a few people at the top actually make a living with Herbalife. The average seller loses thousands of dollars; those who make money would be better off delivering papers.
With America well-aware by now that Herbalife is a barely-legal pyramid scheme (currently being investigated by the Feds), Herbalife has expanded into poor Latin countries, preying on the desperate and draining their life savings. Even if you like the crappy shakes, by buying them you are propping up a despicable, crooked business that makes its money by ruining poor people's lives.
