Since the first day we stepped into Cavendish, we knew they had the space, knowledge and capabilities to pull off a Gujarati wedding and reception that would be memorable and personal for the two of us and our family. The manager took lots of time with us personally with face to face meetings, phone calls and emails throughout the process. Moreover, nothing was an issue - all of the little tweaks and changes we needed were incorporated and more importantly, the advice and suggestions were great in making sure our day went smoothly. We decided to go with their suggested DJ, caterers and decorations. This was amazing because there was only one point of contact and we could leave our time for other things! Highly recommemded as the suppliers they use are the same ones you would go to anyways. A special mention to the catering - cavendish did our food for us in house with their own chef - our guests have been telling us non stop that the food was amazing, especially the wedding food. Our whole day went exactly as planed and nothing was a problem or issue for the team. Highly recommended!

Once again, we had a fabulous night at Cavendish Banqueting - the venue, decor, food and staff were all superb. This was our second event this year at Cavendish, the first being our Bollywood Extravaganza on 9 March 13 - in total we had 600 guests across the two events, and every single one of them were extremly happy with the experience, on every level. Nothing is too much trouble for Akbar Lakhani, General Manager and his team, both in the build up to an event and on the night. We have received excellent value for money when booking our functions, which in turn has allowed us to raise much needed funds for the deserving causes we support, and we are grateful to Akbar for making this possible. We will definately be going back to Cavendish in the future and would not hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone who wants to have a memorable function. Cavendish rocks!

Overall we were really happy with the service we received at the Cavendish. The staff were friendly, helpful, reliable and professional at all times. We particularly liked the freedom we had to hire the hall and then source our own vendors to decorate it and provide the food. We were also very impressed with the venue facilities such as the bar, spacious kitchen and bridal room. We feel that the venue could be even better if they improved the appearance from the outside.

My family hired Cavendish for a wedding related party in June. Right from the start, we received great service on a personalised level. We visited the venue and discussed our requirements a number of times until we had chosen the look that we wanted for the hall and the menu that we agreed on as a family. There was so much to choose from and everything was tailored to our specific requirements. Overall the staff were helpful and did a great job. Months later, may of our guests are still telling us how much they loved the venue and the food.

Staff at the Cavendish banqueting suite are extremely kind, understanding helpful and work hard to deliver exactly what you want. The Venus space very large and spacious and the bar area is also beautiful. The staff made my dream a reality and am grateful for all you did for me and my husband. The venue was magical for my wedding reception and all the guests love the venue too

This venue certainly has the WOW factor when you first walk in with its beautiful lighting and flashing LED flooring giving it that special feel and look. The canopies on arrival were absolutely delicious which kept coming and coming served from trays by staff mingling amongst the guests. The three course meal was exquisite with alternative choices for people that did not eat meat or lamb. The service was superb! The positive comments that followed from guests were similar in theme - "best wedding we have every been to", "food was delicious". Overall a memorable occasion - thank you Akbar.

I would like to thank Akbar firstly, Our event went 100% to plan, I thought I would arrive early and make sure everything was ok, when I arrived I saw Akbar has taken care of everything. I didn’t need o do anything., Working with Akbar and his staff was a true honor. I originally looked at the venue for my wedding but he was booked, (I can see why). So booked for engagement. The venue was beautifully decorated and exactly as discussed. We only met a few times, only spoke a hand full of times on the phone, at first I was worried something would go wring, due to my planning, but Akbar took care of everything, made my event as stress free as it could be. The food was absolutely lovely; all guests had nothing but praise for the meal provided. I didn’t even realise I had guest who had a special dietary requirement, until the day. I asked Akbar can he cater for this, during the middle of the event, and without any fuss he provided food for the few people. After holding an event at CB I can truly say that I would not hesitate to recommend anyone here. Fabric venue, friendly staff who go out of their way to accommodate your needs & spacious. Service was magnificent & the Blue Bar was a huge hit with our guests.
