My daughter and I visited the Leeds branch of Caroline Castigliano a couple of weeks ago, after my daughter made the appointment (my wedding by the way). We were greeted by 'Jo' who spent a lot of time discussing my requirements and offering us some of her ideas. She was utterly lovely and put me completely at ease. Her assistant was also extremely professional, courteous and took care of us.
I tried on several gowns (about 7 or 8) and Jo was fantastic throughout, even when I tried the same gown on several times..and even when I went over my allocated 2-hour slot and the next bride arrived. It was a wonderful experience and there was never any pressure to buy. Jo worked tirelessly to ensure that I found the right gown. We left the shop to think it over after Jo had advised us to take our time and to ring if we had any queries. We returned later that day to order the gown.
Jo rang me about three days later to to make an appointment to 'catch up about the dress and to be measured up'. We went back last Saturday and received the very same care and attention, even though there were two other brides in the shop.
I'm very sorry to read some bad reviews about other branches of Caroline Castigliano but I would like to say to anybody considering a CC gown, please don't be put off, my experience was wonderful and the gowns are amazing. Yes, they are expensive, but after trying CC, for me at least, nothing else will do.
