Best wedding cakes ever!

From when we met Neil from Le Papillion Patisserie at the International Wedding Show, we knew he was the man for the job! He had an extremeley laid back, friendly and non pushy approach. His cakes looked incredible and we had our heart set on a non traditional, french influenced wedding cake. When Neil invited us in for a tasting, we were overwhelemd not only by the choice but by the quality of the cakes. We just couldn't get enough! We had an informal chat about what we were looking for over a cuppa and we really struggled to choose, we were spoilt for choice! That was when we decided to have 2 wedding cakes! One for the day event and one to open the evening buffet! This was a decision we never looked back on. I felt 100% confident about the cake element of the wedding and it was one of the best decisions we could have made. Neil dealt with our florist to ensure we had the cake dressed in exactly the way we wanted. I had nothing to worry about and everything was arranged between them. The day before the event, I decided to let Neil know that I was keen on having a dessert fountain / sparkler on top of our croquembouche! Realsing it was last minute, I thought it might not be possible and I quickly forgot about it. The cakes on the day were everything we wished for and more and Neil had gone out of his way to get to the shops before closing to ensure my cake fountain wish came true. I was over the moon and our guests couldn't stop talking about how incredible the cakes looked and how delicious they were. I couldn't recommend Le Papillion Pattiserie anymore.
