I recently used Logo Guru in an attempt to create a new logo for my business. Until now I have done my own design work, but as my business was growing and my skills and time are limited I decided to seek the services of professional designers. Logo Guru appeared to offer a simple and effective solution and the money-back guarantee and apparent UK base reassured me that they was a good choice. However, having now gone through the process I feel very disappointed with the quality of the designs received and also their unprofessional service and misleading website. First of all, within minutes of setting up the logo contest I was contacted by telephone by Logo Design Guru staff from the US despite it being late at night UK time. They tried to persuade me to increase the prize fund offered even though I had set it up at the level recommended on their website and they also tried to persuade me to make my contest 'guaranteed' which would mean that I had to pay the full fee even if I didn't receive a satisfactory logo. I declined on both counts. I submitted a detailed brief clearly stating what I wanted, but was immediately disappointed when I started to receive designs as most did not follow my brief and showed very little skill or effort. I spent a lot of time communicating with the designers in an attempt to steer them towards what I was looking for, but it was very difficult as it became clear that the individuals were not 'designers' at all and some did not even speak good English. In most cases the same designs would just be re-sent, but with small irrelevant changes. I since discovered that absolutely anyone can sign up as a designer in just a few seconds with no requirements for qualifications, skill or experience whatsoever. In the end I decided to give up and request a refund under the terms advertised on their website, but was annoyed to discover that deep in their terms and conditions page is a clause stating that they will take $50 of the prize fund in addition the their $40 service charge so I ended up paying out $90 and wasting a lot of time and getting nothing in return. I expressed my views to the Mycroburst customer service advisor and he initially agreed to refund the additional $50, but later changed his mind. To summarise, the company has no UK presence, the 'designers' I encountered were mostly unskilled, unprofessional and non-english speaking. . In addition, their customer service staff try to push you into spending (losing) more money and their refund policy is not what it appears to be.

I was a bit hesitant at first to use this website, but I decided to do it anyway and I'm glad I did. It was a great, price effective way of getting some fresh ideas for a logo design. I was able to communicate with the designers and convey what I wanted and am really excited about the final design! The only thing I didn't like was that it took a while for designers to start submitting ideas and also for more than just a couple of designers to get involved. But eventually it came together and I was happy with it.

Starting a business comes with plenty of stress and uncertainty... Coming up with a logo is just another element that can add to that stress. Luckily, I came across logo guru design and it took a ton of pressure off me, allowing me to focus on what needed to be done for my company. It was a little bit of a slow start but a couple days into it I was pleasantly surprised how many designers submitted drafts and were asking for feedback. Even more surprising is how quickly the designers responded and attentive they are to detail. All in all, this was a HUGE help in creating a professional image for my business and I would recommend them to anyone that is having a difficult time getting started. The best part about this is that you can name a price you're comfortable with and have several upgrade options to better serve your needs. The only thing that I would suggest to logo design guru is to make an option available to the customers to have one "final" edit after the winner is chosen... Sometimes you just need to make a last thought adjustment.

You get a variety of wonderful logo options from multiple designers. You also get to leave them ongoing feedback so they can tailor your logo to match exactly what you are looking for.

I've now had two logos designed for two different companies, and I'd definitely use this service again. I've never had less than 70+ designs, and out of those there are always a dozen or more of excellent quality that I could choose as winners for each project. Feedback can be provided along the way to designers, who are very receptive to your ideas, providing several 'options' to consider. In the end, the hardest part is choosing the winner from several high quality and professional designs. All in all, an excellent service which gives small business access to top-class design services without the prohibitive cost.

This was the first time I needed to design a logo and I was a little anxious about the process. However, Logo Design Guru made the process easy and we got hundreds of great designs. I could contact the designers throughout the process to ask for alterations to their designs and we ended up with a great product.

This is the second logo design project that we have done and we are very happy. For the price it really is a great deal as we received many designs and we were able to give feedback to the designers to tweak the designs to get a very professional final logo design that we are proud to display.
