Apples' Achilles heel?

I really do enjoy Apples products - from my early iPod, my Apple TV and my iPhone - I couldn't be happier with their products.

However, the one REALLY annoying part of the Apple eco-system is that iTunes.

I've never 'got it' - I find it really unintuitive and generally hard work to do backups, restores etc via iTunes.

I was hoping that I could do everything in the cloud with the new iCloud, however, you can't backup things like videos (which is the main reason I want to do a backup) so that's out of the window.

I really wish they'd get some better software and/or set it up so that you can opt out of iTunes and use something different - its the one thing that is holding me back from going all Apple with my hardware.

Come on Apple, sort it out! Or am I the only person that has a problem with iTunes?
