I was a very loyal customer of theres, spending hundreds of pounds per month any was quite happy with the service, however it seams like every 12 months I have at least day of unexpected downtime :(
over the last 9 months, I have moved 95% of my hosting to a different UK Based hosting cloud company for 10% of what my eUKHost bill was, and been actively monitoring the downtime, in 9 months ive had a grand total of 3 instances of downtime, with an average duration of 3 minutes per issue, latency issues once lasting 35 minutes but the servers were still active, and 0 serious network issues!
Shop around - there are a lot better companies out there, eUKHost have great sales teams, but unfortunately the technical teams are in my opinion understaffed / undertrained to do what they have to do and can not fulfil the demands of this business.
As for there no quibble refunds, read the small print very carefully as I sure had to fight to get a refund from them when they set up one of the timed services 24 hour late and I canceled.
