Hosting service often goes down of a couple of hours at a time without warning. When tech support is reached it is claimed to be for regular maintenance or occasionally emergency maintenance due to a security threat on your shared host--sometimes requiring all your passwords to need to be reset.
Any domain name registration with them is automatically set to auto-renew. However, no reminder is sent out, only the receipt. Calls to the billing department are in vain as they claim that no manager is currently in the office, call back later. A manager is there, and you can be refunded due to this shady business practice and unethical service.
