Within minutes of contact, I was on the phone with an admin. He helped identify the problem which was offshore login attacks probably initiated by a bot-net.

We reviewed the defensive actions I could take which would minimize impact on my site and hosting servers, which I promptly implemented.

The internet is a wild wild west, but your support team provided excellent and proactive support immediately.
