I had two dedicated servers for 2 years.
When I signed up I was happy to pay more as I believed they offered a superior level of support and I wanted to keep my business in the UK.
An unexplained 24 hour outage occurred a few months into the hosting which after repeated calls and demands to escalate the issue was concluded with the very dubious 'someone unplugged it by accident'.
No apology, no refund, no ticket number even recorded, just empty promises of return calls that never came from not one but three staff. There isn't a single email referencing the incident - convenient.
The junior account managers are clearly under pressure to call you regularly to ask 'how's it going'. This gets tedious quickly, especially since they don't have the technical knowledge to continue the conversation if you reply.
When I submitted my written notice they failed to process it, over charged me and Mr 'how's it going' went quiet on me. Someone in the company clearly has some integrity as they emailed me to apologise but it was too late.
A real disappointment on many fronts.
