Due to an oversight, UKCheapest was not told I had changed my contact email, so notification of expiry of domain did not reach me. It took quite a time for this to percolate through, as initially support staff was still trying to contact me through my lapsed .aol email address - thus without domain for 10 days.
Could be worse: once they had grasped what the problem was I could re-register, and a/c restored within 24 hours.
