Where to start! I have had terrible service from some well know names typically for energy supply but non come close to how bad this company is.
They sell you a tempting offer early on then slam you with the bigger bill down the line and suggest you knew about this as you ticked the terms and conditions box! BS! I never even used what I'd paid for because my web builder guy said they are appalling to deal with so we never used them, but still paid..

I then started receiving reminders this is after I had cancelled my subscription to them, they have no customer care team so the ones writing they have obviously work for switch media.. They ended up arguing with me on the phone and I mean full blown arguments with one guy laughing at me and asking if I talked over my customers the way I talked over him, erm! Am I not the customer?? These amateurs should be investigated and closed down they are a total rip off company stay very clear from them you will thank me for it

Sorry to hear that your recent experience with Switch Media was unsatisfactory

Reading you comment i believe you are referring to the offer where in the first year you can have a domain for £6 and the hosting for free and in the second year you would pay full price. Its a great promotion to help new businesses get started on there first year, you are effectively getting hosting for 2 years for the price of 1.

The terms and conditions do advise that the length of terms is 2 years and then it would be a 1 year rolling contract, what you were advise is that you have ticked a box when buying the services online advising that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions.

The word terms and conditions is in blue and acts as a link to them.

Regarding the call, if you give me your customer number or domain i will gladly have it investigated.

Thank you for your response. My customer ID is 15035024 if you listen back to my calls over the previous weeks you will notice my original call was to cancel, this was well within my agreed timescale so I would not have received any further charges. I received the email with the cancellation attachment I printed it off filled it out signed it and sent it to you.
I then received further requests for money and letters threatening legal action so I called to explain I have cancelled only to get "well we have not received it"
It was made out to be my fault entirely for not sending it recorded.
On that call the girl suggested if she had have cancelled something she would have been on the phone to ensure you had received the letter!!

My next call was to say I never received another cancellation form only to be told it had gone passed the due date so I would need to pay money now! All this for something I have not used and was tempted into with a £5 offer!!
I got angry on the phone and insisted on talking to a manager, the manager came on and instantly had an attitude which was nothing short of despicable.
I have never had this treatment ever so I have started doing my own investigating on your business practises and have found that this kind of treatment is given regularly. I have since received a letter suggesting legal action again, I will fight this claim through the courts as the last 2 conversations I recorded and on these recordings it is clear I have suggested I have sent a cancellation letter to which none of the staff listened only then to receive an attitude to which I got very angry and reciprocated the managers attitude to see if he liked it, for him to start laughing at me.
I have a heart condition and when I came off the phone from this guy I had to leave my business for the day to calm down, this will be mentioned in court along with the recordings.

The only way to resolve this issue is to stop pestering me for funds I should not owe.

I will advise if you are recording your calls you must advise at the start of the call that your are recording, you must have the other persons permission.

I have checked your account and i have listen to the calls, What you have advised on this review is not what was recorded on the calls. You consistently spoke over the the agent and at one point in the call you did swear at him which is unacceptable.

As what has been advised is we have not received the cancellation form for your services, you are using on one of the domains for a site that is currently active which we are still due payment for last year.

I have also emailed your regarding the other services on the account.

please join me and others in writing to watchdog, companies house and OFT.
Or continue to spread your truth so others dont get bullied and robbed.
Companies house send switchmedia offers out with their welcome packs and the more people complain about it the better.
