I’m writing this because I feel cheated and think SWITCH MEDIA has just took me for a ride.
They say that you must give 30 days’ notice to end your services, that’s seems fine no problems with that so comply and send the email.
I sent the email along with the cancelation form and proof of identity blar blar blar.... only to carry on getting these automated emails asking for payment, BTW they start coming 60 days every other day before your service is due to expire.
So times ticking on as it does , I just thought these automated emails where sent in error and they just kept coming and coming and coming…..
So I get in touch they say ‘’I’m sorry we haven’t received the email and the balance is now payable as you have missed the 30 day period’’
They have the email I know they do because I bloody sent it, ok so let’s not rule out it may have been dropped somewhere along the way however that’s not the point and I am telling the truth.
Seems like a lot of people of having problems with this company something needs to be done about it.
Anyway my advice would be to stay away because there extortionate prices are just not worth it, other companies offer so much more for a lot less.
Also getting out of contract and the two year deal they have is a load of rubbish.
I had no option but to pay because they started threatening legal action, the amount they stole was over £240 for one year’s hosting and emails!!!!
