I had not updated my card details on Streamline.net because I wrongly assumed this would be an effective way to get them to close my account, which was what I wanted them to do. Did they do that? No, they renewed my subscription for another 2 years and then threatened me with debt collectors and to destroy my credit rating because I had not paid the advance fee. I explained to them that I wanted to close my account with immediate effect but they still made me pay the £74 rip off fee. I have since asked them to close my account 3 times but they have yet to do it.
By the way Streamline.net now has a Facebook page. I suggest that you could all go and write your comments on their wall before other people fall prey to their underhand tactics!
