Awful !!! Never recommend to others. Not available to cancel or downgrade subscription... I had remove all my video files from my site... because video player is really rubbish, video encoding takes few months and never done. Disc usage shows 26.4 gb of real 13.5 gb ... no contact with admin... shorter: Don't subscribe!

I've had the same problem as many others with difficulty cancelling a website with one.com that I no longer want, because I didn't manage to achieve this within 30 days prior to expiry. First they doubled my bill since last year by adding a Premium website builder that I didn't want or ask for,I queried at least twice why this increase from £55 to £106, but got ignored. I eventually managed to delete that additional service through control panel but couldn't cancel the auto-renewal from said 'control' panel. There is no direct way to cancel the subscription, you have to use online chat. Then they have to email you a link to cancel. I sent 2 messages saying I wanted to cancel before the 30 days, but received no response, then when I finally got an answer after their 30 day deadline, was told that they had received my previous messages saying I wanted to cancel, but they didn't issue the link because I didn't specify which domain I wanted to cancel. I only have ONE domain, but even if I'd had many, surely any customer caring company would respond with 'Thank you, please could you confirm which domain? etc no they deliberately delay until they've got you by the small print and just keep pasting copies of the small print in answer to everything you ask. I now have to pay up front for a whole year of a service that I do not want and will never use, because in the end they only got 23 days notice! What the F do they need to do for 30 days?? You can sign up and use the package immediately, but it takes 30 days notice to cancel it? ie. do nothing?? I am now being charged £10 extra for not paying quick enough! Their deliberately onerous cancellation policy may have forced me to pay £65 until June 2018 for a service I will never use, but they have lost me as a customer forever. I highly recommend everyone else to steer clear. It has been very hard to write this review without use of mainly expletives!

i decided to go with them as they offer a one stop solution, after they took payment they sent an email with a registration form to sign i did this next they want government id - so a faceless company will have my account details - signature and ID!!! i refused to give them id and pointed out that other hosting companies don't require it so refund my money 0 they pretty much said tough and am still fighting for the refund. NO STAR RATING

We have been with Onecom just over a year and a half. They provide our telephones and internet. To say the service is appalling is an understatement. A week ( or sometimes a day ) does not go by when things do not work. You are promised a phone call back, but after waiting and waiting you call again complaining as nothing comes back. Eventually, after the fault is found and service has resumed you have lost hours of your own time as well as custom/trade because people could not get hold of you.

I wish I had read the reviews before I signed up to One.com. I have been trying to cancel my subscription since March but nobody listens in Chat sessions and emails are left unanswered. Avoid this company at all costs

Please, please don't use one.com. They have threatened me by email, increased the renewal fee to a ridiculous amount and have sold my debt onto a management company. I tried to cancel after the first year (before the renewal date) and they refused to send me a cancellation link. Then after I told them that I no longer wanted their web space they stopped replying to my emails a month later they automatically renewed my subscription for £50 and again I told them I wanted to cancel it. There was no response from them. The initial webspace was £3 last year! A month later they sold the 'debt' onto a management company and I now have emails from them for £75! Please don't ever use this company. They do not respond to emails and have no phone number, send threatening messages and have extortionate renewal fees. They still refuse to let me cancel my account and I have no way to contact them to resolve this.

You cancel the service but they force you to continue to pay for at least another year. There is $12 reminder fee when they remind you to pay the bill that should have been canceled. Stay away from this company!!!

1 Review Published 3 seconds ago Onecom should change there name to NOCOM We had a terrible time with Onecom and Vodafone. I was contacted by a Onecom representative as our contract with EE come to an end . I was driving at the time , maneuvered my way through traffic agreeing to take out a contract with them, unknowingly agreeing to a 3 year deal for our 2 business mobile contracts . We have tried several times to cancel (within the cooling off period) but Onecom refuse to let us cancel as we agreed to waiver this at the beginning of one of the phone calls! I have since contacted Vodafone who has a 30 day cool off period but there third party selling there products has not weird I know they will not allow us to cancel the contract. . I also found that the customer service is great , the only problem is the product the signal is poor ( been spoiled with EE for 3 years) and after receiving my first bill of £195 for the two phones at £40 per month including in the deal 25 GB data and free calls and messages no happy , I am contacting the Ombudsan , they can not be allowed to cone someone ells . Please do not deal with Onecom you will regret this

My son is was 14 at the time and his 13 year old friend signed up for the services of this company without my knowledge even though I have warned him before about companies like this. My son sent them a cancelation email and thought it was done with. now he has received a bill in his name for the amount of $36.48 and then was charged even more for late fees for a total of $48.48. The letter was dated March 14th but we didn't even receive the letter until the first of April but he is being charged late fees. There is no phone number on the letter to contact company and I refuse to send any of my personal banking information to a company I don't trust. If I send payment, I will send a money order to the address on the letter, after I report this company to the Better Business Bearu for charging a minor after telling them it was a no obligation and credit card required. I know they used the service for some stupid Utube site and now they are figuring out not everything is what it seams. From all the other reviews I have read, it is a little reassuring to me that it is not just kids that fall for this companies scheme.

Free trial expired, they took the liberty to autorenew it, without even having my bank information or anything. Now they say I have a debt with them of 50€, and even sold my debt to a fuckng debt collecting agency in Spain. STAY WAY FROM THEM

Initially happy now feeling frustrated, got the website to work and it all sorted (as I thought) now one.com have suspended my website and account without prior notice, they wanted ID, sent by return and here I am five days later still without an ability to access my website or emails. All very frustrating. Oddly enough they are not offering to chat any more now they have my money.

Once they have got your money they couldnt care less. Customer service doesnt exist, they refused to correct the details they hold on me and I even even had to report them to Trading Standards.

One.com provided an excellent service but sadly this was short lived. I had signed up many clients to their service as it was an all in 1 solution. However, they have now decided to remove Bix and replace it with rushfiles. These are completely different to what I signed my cients up to and sadly my clients are no longer interested in one.com. Its caused a me a massive headache and clients are no longer happy with the product and services offered by one.com

An average hosting service. Regular short downtime and only one SQL database can be annoying, but support is ok and it's simple to use. However be aware of their deceptive use of subscriptions. I thought I was purchasing 12 months web hosting from one.com, and when I no longer needed it ignored their renewal notices. Little did I know one.com had signed me up to a subscription service (something they tuck away in the Ts and Cs). So you can imagine my shock when I received a notice from a debt collection agency, I mean, I thought that kind of action was limited to payday lenders. I got in touch with customer services and expected them to say 'sorry you didn't realise it was a subscription, we think our messaging is clear but we can see you haven't used your account in 4 months, of course we'll waive the charges." But no. Only after an extensive conversation with complaints where I was made to feel an idiot for not reading the terms and conditions I managed to get the debt collection case closed but still had to pay the renewal fee for a subscription service I didn't think I'd signed up to. To show that they are not clear, here is the itemised invoice for my initial purchase. Prize for anyone who can see the word subscription: Order details: Date: Apr 1, 2014 You have ordered the following: Discount - Web Space Small (5 GB) for first 12 months - 10.80 Discount - Domain transfer (.co.uk) -2.00 Domain transfer (.co.uk) 2.00 Setup fee 9.00 +VAT 20% 1.80 Total in GBP: 10.80

no chat support as offered for days. Send email complaint and no response. Eventually get in touch with chat and useless, seemingly very unintelligent person ignores what I write and just posts automatic responses like how can I help? weird. I had asked why no support over last few days. response. we offer 24/7 support. Then when had enough went to write had enough and wanted complaints email the chat freezes. No more support and I am unable to send. and before you say. I checked the internet as soon as this happened and no issues. They seem useless and patronizing. I have pictures of conversation. Terrible!!!

I wrote to cancel my domain and account last September when it was due for renewal. Out of the blue this month I started receiving chasing emails for an outstanding invoice totalling £33.76. This in itself is awful considering the first year cost £10 for both domain and hosting. I wrote back explaining that I cancelled it and initially received a very blunt response saying I have to pay it. I wrote once more, only to receive an even more blunt email back to say that it is now in the hands of their debt collector. Their reason for this behaviour is that I should have used the link they sent to cancel. Well, having read another review on here, they have shot themselves in the foot as this was their response to another customer's appalling service:- "We are glad to hear you find the creation of accounts simple and inexpensive. For the cancellation, we offer two methods. You can either cancel via the link of cancellation that gets sent to the registered email address for the account, or you can send a written request so our customer support can process the cancellation for you." That last part about the written request One.com! My email to you constitutes a request to cancel so why didn't your customer support process it for me? I will be seeking assurance from the Citizen's Advice Beureau, so more needless time and stress on my part for simply buying a domain name and hosting! I will be terminating my other accounts with this company and will never use them again. I will be all over the internet now advising people to do likewise. Shame on you One.com, your treatment of customers is disgusting.

AVOID this company they operate an auto renew policy even if you don't want to keep the domain. If you fail to cancel 30 days before the renewal they still charge you the next year's subscription in full. If you don't pay they charge you £10 for every letter they send you. Their customer service is disgraceful!! There is no phone number to contact them and their live support is useless. My domain was £15 for the year then they applied the £10 penalty for late payment for something that costs £15. AVOID them at all costs

In similar situation, they are trying to get a years subscription for hosting out of me that I never agreed to after a free trial. Ive had some emails asking for payment and a £10 late payment charge. I have cancelled my payment card with them and taken my address details off my account. They say they will possibly send out debt collectors. I have ignored their requests from the start. I wonder if they will even bother to enforce the payment or if it is all bluster?

I opened my account with one and then totally forgot about it following a family death shortly afterwards.. Out of the blue a debt collection agency start making contact about the contract that I had broken and demanded payment for £27.00 The most peculiar part about all of this is my contract had not quite expired and I received no emails from one about anything. Heavy handed approach and totally unforgivable. Avoid!

Having a terrible time trying to get any answers from one.com and not impressed that if like me you're a little new to all this stuff there is no-one to talk to. I've now sent my fourth email trying to sort something out and I seem to waste 24 hours to be told 'I didn't quite understand your question' How can this be a better business model that speaking to someone. Crazy

As most of the reviews about One.Com, I'm disgusted by the poor service and tricks that this Dubai-Based company is using to get customers to renew automatically the subscription. Creating an account is easy and not expensive but when it comes to stop using them, you need to cancel the auto subscription by sending an email. In my case they sent letter by post (to my old address) and their emails went to my spams box. As their do not use the phone, their is no one to call you. After contacting them, they only write basic and standard email to remind you about the 30 days and T&Cs ! Automatic renewal is NOT clearly highlighted on their website and the process should be more straight forward ! AVOID ONE.COM - DO NOT USE THEM - TRUST A HOST COMPANY BASED IN THE EU OR THE US !

Hi,
I'm very sorry to hear you have had a bad experience with our services. Let me try and clarify some points for you.
The company One.com was originally established in 2002 in Denmark. We have offices in Copenhagen, Dubai and also India. Only a part of the company is located in Dubai. Most of our support and our managers are located in Copenhagen. You can find more about the history of our company on our website.
We are glad to hear you find the creation of accounts simple and inexpensive. For the cancellation, we offer two methods. You can either cancel via the link of cancellation that gets sent to the registered email address for the account, or you can send a written request so our customer support can process the cancellation for you.
To receive the link to cancel, you can either contact us by email, but if you are in a rush, we also offer a 24/7 Live Help that can easily send you the link to cancel, so you can process the cancellation as fast as possible,
One.com does not provide telephone support, the reason being that it is impossible to offer a quality product at an attractive price without making some compromises. We have decided to compromise on human resources rather than the technical; thus, we have not employed a team of hotline personnel waiting to answer customer telephone enquiries.
The cancellation email is indeed the same for all, but if you have any questions concerning the procedure, we gladly personalise the response to your question.
Our auto-renewal policy is applied to all our customers and you can find it in our FAQ, in our terms of business, second paragraph and in your renewal email sent to you 60 days before the anniversary date of your account.
In this renewal email you can read the following text:
"One.com renews your subscription automatically to maintain safety for your data and for your domain. Automatic renewal ensures that an oversight of payment due to a vacation or missing update of address will not cause loss of data and lost domain."
This way you get informed of the pending renewal of your account.
We would very much like to investigate your case further, if you would let us. For that, please contact our Customer Care department directly via email. We hope to hear from you.
Regards,
Stephanie / One.com

Disgusting, rude style customer service, nothing ever works, poor product even worse service. Use one.com if you want to go bankrupt via a failed business. I would rather be robbed than give the animals another penny! 0 stars out of 100! Currently taking them to court for over £200'000 in lost earnings!

Oh dear. I just joined them twice. I am a member here but didn't check first - other reviews seems OK. Oh well - probably the same as the one I moved from (fatcow).
