It's always good to be able to have confidence in your providers. I've been with LCN (for domain names) since I started in business around 6/7 yrs ago. During that time I've had to deal with many other ISPs (where clients have already bought their own etc.) and each time I groan when I hear another ISP's name mentioned simply because most times it means problems or delays and more wasted time for me (and hassle that has to be explained to the client).
With many other ISPs, I've experienced delays for transfers, name server changes etc. then only to find out it hasn't been carried out by the tech guys. In some cases they provide the ability to make changes in their control panel, but you then find out days later, that it hasn't taken effect or worse still it's gone back to the previous settings. I've seen a straightforward name server change take a week or so!
With LCN things get done straight away and take effect as soon as propagation allows.
The only thing I find a bit frustrating is my ability to setup a new domain and somehow during the purchase manage to set the wrong owner details ( or leave default one ) even when I think I've done it right - then have to go back. Luckily, this can be done on LCN, providing you notice and do it soon enough.
