I purchased a website name and hosting through LCN recently and I have experienced mostly a fantastic service.

I recommend using LCN if you are a beginner as their support team has real people who are always available either via email or telephone on a LOCAL rate number! Setting up my website was fairly easy thanks to the free website builder that I got with my package, I only have a one page website but it was such a simple process!

The only problem I had with LCN was setting up my emails, I called the support team and I was initially told that they were not email experts and there wasn't much they could do but after a few hours of trying by myself I called the support team again where a lovely lady guided me through the process.
