Ive used this company for many years and had various dedicated and vps servers with them. The service was great and my account manager sorted all of my issues and queries quickly and efficiently.
They restructured, and ever since the service and support has been terrible.
Each time you speak to tech support you will receive a different answer to the same question. They have no idea what they are doing and the tech support staff have had no training from I can see.
Simple tasks cannot be carried out without various phone calls and emails.
Their dedicated servers are pre-loaded with the wrong configuration so over time the log folder fills up and everything falls over. To alter you need to rebuild the server, which you have no access too.
Ive now removed all my services from fasthosts other than domain registrations, but they can't even get that right.
I needed to change the glue records for a domain, which was done. Emailed support to request they were submitted to the global registry 72 hours later, they still have not propagated, so either they have not submitted the domain nameservers, or the control panel does not work.
Avoid this company unless you want to deal with incompetent calls centre staff.
