We signed up with Fasthost in Feb 2010 to host our website and emailed them to close the account in April 2010.
In March 2011 they charged our account again for the years hosting fees. When we contacted them their customer services gave us a run around and eventually admitted they had charged wrongly and they would refund. We have not received any refund to date. We gave up on chasing the money since it was time -consuming and stressful.
I thought that was the end to this saga.
Surprise, surprise... they have sent a letter dated april 2012 demanding the annual fee and threatening to charge admin fees for late payment.
When I contacted them, the idiot in their customer services dept admiited receiving a request for cancellation of the account in april 2010 but claimed the charge gets levied automatically unless we had advised them again in 2012 that we wish to cancel.
These guys a bunch of chancers who charge illegally and their support isnt any better.
Dont ever use these incompetent idiots.
