If I can dissuade at least one person to never ever ever etc use fasthosts then i've done a decent job. Maybe i'm thick but I got persuaded by the tele sales to take a months hosting, when I went to cancel the account I was told I was locked in to a years contract. How does that work??? It has taken me two years to get away from them. To add insult to injury their service is downright slow and depressing. The customer service is abysmal to non-existent. Avoid at all costs. I would give them no stars were it possible, and I would like my £120 or more they've tken out of my bank account back.
