I've used Easyspace basically since it began way back when, and I now host quite a few sites fro clients with them. Generally things run without any need to notice anything - which is good in itself! But it's when things go wrong that you can tell how a company operates...
I've had the odd outage of email, and there is a note saying why and that it is getting sorted: and it is. Sometimes it's a set-up issue, or something I need to do to a site - be it a password-protected folder, name forwarding or domain transfer. Whether I use the online ticket system, or the phone line, support is fast and efficient - AND friendly!
It's hard to overstate the benefit of a support service who don't sound bored or or make you feel stupid; on top of all that, who get the job done!
I always recommend Easyspace to folk looking for hosting and other services. There ARE apparently cheaper folk out there, but when friends etc have gone there, the apparent cheapness has either had add-ons, or has meant the problems have been legion.
