I've been using Dataflame for over 7 years. The service is great; price point is competitive but the real beauty of Dataflame is the 24/7 online support. The support is very responsive & provided you are patient, they will address a lot of problems you may have, even on the low cost shared servers.
You also have a lot more freedom on their shared servers to adjust various settings (such as PHP, MX records etc) and if you cannot do it yourself, you can ask online support. I've never had to resort to emailing and waitng 3 days for a response.
Finally, on the one occasion I have had to call them, low and behold a guy in London answered the phone and had my problem resolved in under 30 minutes.
When people ask who do I use, I always say Dataflame. They might not be the cheapest, but the level of service more than pays for the slight increase in costs. Peace of mind is better than saving a few quid a month.
