VERY Happy, especially with the tech support

I've got six or seven clients with compila.com, and one has been there since Jan 2004. That should give you an idea of how much we like them!

We've had extra disk space for free and extra bandwidth for free, only being charged when it was obvious we really needed to upgrade to the next level they offered.

I've had very few problems in the last eight years with these sites, and when I've had to phone or email them, the tech support has been great. A real human being who seems to love his job and enjoys solving problems, and often does things instantly (like the extra disk space and bandwidth we didn't pay for for over a year).

The only reason I don't have all my clients there is because it would be silly to have them all in the one place (common sense says use several companies to avoid 30 clients phoning you at once if a server crashes) , and because I can host the smaller ones inside my on web space and keep their hosting fee! But if anyone asks for a good UK host, I always point them to compila. I have no plans to move the sites elsewhere and will continue to put new clients on their servers for quite some time.

And I came here to check up on an American host a new client wants to use, and thought I'd check compila's reviews too.

Great host, simply great.
