After using 2 other companies to host my websites, I was a little disappointed at the services available .... Then I found Cloud Next, UK based, very efficient, excellent pricing that is more than worth while. I host about 30 sites so far and growing, no problem to tough for these guys, always reply to any problems I have very quickly. I've got a couple of sites with cloudnext and I cant fault them. Easy to set up and change your account (adding domains etc). The real clincher for me though is the brilliant support. They wipe the floor with companies like 1&1 etc. Every time I raise a support ticket I get the reply I need within the hour. usually within half an hour. Amazingly cheap too. I moved to CloudNext from 1and1. I had basically had a gut full of the 1and1 attitude and their foreign call centers. Having been with Cloudnext now for over a year, it has been a breath of fresh air. Nothing is a problem... and their customer support is beyond helpful (just recently had an issue with domain hosting account, submitted a support ticket, and within 12 hours it was resolved). When I add a domain name I find it very dificult to find where to add the hosting. I end up chasing my tail around for about 15 minutes before I can do it. There should be a button that says 'Add Hosting to this domain name'. I have done this a few times and always have the same problem. I'm really impressed with Cloudnext so far, especially after transferring a domain over from a previous TERRIBLE provider who shall remain nameless. Hosting all works nicely - unfortunately, these guys offer a tiny 400mb email inbox size! Any more is an 'add-on' cost. Not at all competitive on this level, so either host your emails elsewhere, or find another web host. (read more)

I have tried the hosting from cloud next, their servers do go offline occasionally but usually it's OK. Sometimes my scripts can run a little slow too so its not good for a medium website like mine. Their 1-click installers are good though however. Their support is OK, but all they say is "Our engineers are looking into this and we will advise to this support ticket" and they sometimes don't get back to you. I've had a Cloud Next VPS for a few months now. First they were very good and everything just seemed to work. But then I kept getting frequent outages, on one occasion it was more than 9 hours, they said this was down to a network problem. Then a couple of months later I had an outage that lasted over 6 hours. I have a Cloud Next VPS for my business. Last weekend they had connectivity issues which lasted over 20 hours. Now my VPS has been down yet again for over 15 hours. Cloud Next VPS hosting is just terrible, avoid them at all costs. They have cost me a lot of money - my reputation has been badly effected dramatically. I have tried various host companies in the past, and Cloud Next have by far the best service I have come across. Sorry, I forgot to mention their control panel. Very easy to navigate, and provides a huge amount of facilities to manage and protect your website. There are plenty of other things that I could comment about, but you would need to experience them for yourself. I can honestly say that I have not had any issues or problems with them at any time, or for any reason. I know some reviewers have and may disagree, but for me and my needs? Top of the lot.

£10 for my annual renewal! I am so chuffed - never had a real problem with these providers and even recommended them to a friend who joined up too. My last provider tried to rip me off and charged me £40 for my renewal which is why I dropped them to join Cloudnext. Cheap and cheerful. I have 4 accounts with CN for various clients... each with an assortment of sites ranging from CMS sites using Wordpress and Joomla, to standard .Net and Classic ASP site. Not a single one of them has had a problem.
I believe there could be a different issue affecting your case which you should try to resolve with their support.

I had moved some of my servers over to cloud next in December, Help was there as soon as I needed it even though they are meant to be un-managed servers on their VPS, I had a lot of problems moving customers VPS from my old company and cloud next helped and fixed all the problems, they help where they can to make sure servers are running how you need. polite, cheep reliable servers with more HDD, CPU and memory than other companies, complete control of the server and server rebuild options.... My Site crashed yesterday and still not up for over 24 hours. The claim it is a hardware issue. please let me know if you find a reputable hosting provider in the uk, non of them want to offer a stand alone server. I would not recommend Cloudnext either, I also tried their standard hosting, and was slow, and down due to claims of a "denial of attack".
