“Absolutely Diabolical - Rubbish”

I cannot find enough words to describe how completely and utterly useless avagoo is. There is NO SERVICE period. You cannot use any facility that you have paid for. It is so bad that their Advanced Web hosting Billing System (AWBS) certificate has now expired. That is the actual application they use to offer their services. The ssl certificate has expired over 3 months ago. The Cpanle is no longer useable (I guess that certificate has expire as well). I have raised several support tickets in the past without any response apart from the automated acknowledgement I can go on and on. Such an organisation should be banned for such abysmal service, or lack of. It is awful...

“Literally uncontactable. ”

They took payment for my domain renewal for 3 years. The control panel told me there was an error and I needed to contact support. They DO NOT RESPOND to EMAIL, SUPPORT TICKETS, or PHONE CALLS. I have been trying for a week to get any sign of life from them and I'm pretty convinced there are no support staff and that the whole business is automated. Total scam, do not use because if something goes wrong you will be entirely screwed.

“colossal waste of time and money and effort”

Near-constant down-time troubles over 4 years and more. Slow server (using only one to serve MANY accounts). Example: down twice over the last 10 days for more than several days at a time. No response to emails. No updates on status. No nothing! Last down time, my email on the server was flooded with over 40,000 spam messages - costing me many hours trying to clear the account. Their Softaculus account has been expired for at least a week so no one can auto-install scripts. Their SSL certificate has expired too. I'm surprised they haven't expired their C-Panel license as well. Had I had any idea the trouble this host would be, I'd have built my own server instead - that would have been a lot better than what I was was promised, but never delivered upon.

Got any better ideas that are near the same price for a hosting biz account? My own customers are mad at me for all the down time on the websites. Contacting UK from the USA is a PITA and when I do, they never answer anyway.

No what i have found. They never answer queries and the customer care is atrocious. The sites I had spent more time down than up. If you want cheap nasty service this is the company to go for everytime. Be warned.

I wonder what Avagoo you are referring to. Must be from planet Mars.
The Avagoo I know is absolutely RUBBISH, uncontactable, no support whatsoever. Even their ABWS certiicate which is what they run their service on is expired. Cpanel certificate has expired, so can't do anything.

Thats how bad it is. Diabolical

“Not a good start”

I was skeptical to start with as I have seen lots of good reviews for Avagoo.com but seen some bad reviews, but seen bad reveiws on other hosts so dont know what to trust. I have always been a strong believer in trying things out for myself rather than. Here was my conclusion Tried the live support at around midnight on tuesday and it was answered within a few minutes and my questions got answered. 5/5 there. Rang Avagoo.com at the same time and message that phone lines are only open during office hours :(, tried the next day and call was answered right away and questions answered. 3/5 Sent a support ticket throught the day, all were answered within the hour. 5/5 there. Though I have not signed up yet I will be giving them a try shortly and will be leaving another reveiw on the service

“No support whatsoever”

My .com domain expires in a few days. I've tried to renew it with Avagoo but the site tells me there's a problem and to contact support. I sent them an e-mail. Nothing. I called both their sales and support lines. Answer machine. I phoned the North Nottinghamshire Business Centre where Avagoo rents office space. It appears that Avagoo is a one or two man outfit with no support staff. Companies House lists the company director as Craig Blakemore. I have paid a LOT of money to Avagoo for hosting and domain registration and nothing works. I'm left without a website and no way of contacting Avagoo. Avoid this shoddy company like the plague.

Nathan Rogan is the new owner {[email protected]} and is worse, if that's even possible than Craig Blakemore ever was as owner. I've been with them from their start and the service is the worst ever... and getting even more so. It's not unusual to be down for many days, then when it comes back, the email system is crammed with many hundreds of spam messages. The average is not less than one major outage each and every month now.

This is a UK service, but is based in servers in Texas USA... and is way oversold for just one server.

It is down now, and has been for more than one full day... and there's no way to contact the owner or the company (one in the same). He also never answers his emails - nor sends any updates.

If you're a reseller/host as I am - using them is a very bad idea. Your customers will scream bloody murder at every outage. You also won't keep them as clients for very long because the service you can offer is so unreliable with so much server down-time.

Good luck if you decide to use avagoo.com... if it wasn't such a pain to change horses, I would be gone in a heartbeat and get a http://hostgator.com reseller account.

“I signed up to these guys about 18 months ago......”

I signed up to these guys about 18 months ago... started off well for first 12 months with no problems but since having problems its been awful when i needed support. no live system chat anymore, no support communication any more. Sent many tickets to their system but no response. rubbish. Gave them some stars because they where good at everything early on....and are pretty cheap but expect no support.

Purchased account today, good stuff so far, account was setup within about 10mintues, and i emailed support to get my site moved from old host, got a reply within about an hour tellin me it will be done shortly so lets see how long it takes

Disapointed to see the £10 cash back was only payable after 60 days :(

Ive been with avagoo nearly 5 years and never had any problems, ive never though about moving away from avagoo so i dont know why all these ratings are bad because support is fast, i actually needed magic quotes turned on today, and got reply within 15mins, and magic quotes enabled within 2 hours

Avoid avagoo if u can. Ignorant, annoying and not professional staff that cannot put anything together. They take ages to respond and when i say ages i mean ages. I have send 18 emails over past 3 days when server have been offline and not even a single answer. They running single server and that server has non stop problems is always full and spammed.

I have joined avagoo over a year ago and there is no live support as they have no money to renew licence, phone lines has been always down and on answering machine. Even if u leave an message they will never get back to u as they said.

Agreed, we have had two major, long-term outages over the last week. They claim one site is a a problem and they are working with the to resolve the issue. No evidence of that happening... at all. The server is down again, and has been for over 24 hours with NO contact at all. I've been with them for more than 4 years and this happens regularly, and my hosted clients (50+) are getting angrier every time this happens. If it keeps up, I'll have to change to another host - even IF it's a royal PITA - and expensive - to do.

I went with avagoo from 5quid hosts, at first they answered support emails quickly but I've been trying to contact them for over a month now and no answers - telephone is just answerphone - they just seem to have disappeared. The only good news is the server is still up and running but paid for a year & wanted some support!(the only good thing was I got it at half price)

Unless I can get any more answers I'll be off tyo another supplier!

Having bought a domain off them which went smoothly, I bought a basic hosting package with Avagoo and I was reassured by their 30 day money back guarantee. As soon as I bought the package I realised that their site builder package wasnt working, so I tried to contact them via support tickets which are not working, FAQ not working and guess what they dont answer their sales or support phone. I have sent numerous emais asking them to honour their 30 day money back guarantee, with NO answer. I contacted Paypal to gegister a dispute and see if I can get my money back that way, I was quickly informed that Paypal doesnt cover purchase of services, only goods! (Moral don't pay for hosting with Paypal) So... essentialy Avagoo have taken (stolen I believe) my money, failied to provide a service I can use and wont communicate with me. DO NOT TOUCH THEM WITH BARGEPOLE UNLESS YOU WANT TO WAVE GOODBYE TO YOUR MONEY

Keep away of this like a company. AVAGOO is worst ever just try to contact their support it is night mare. They will come back to u after weeks not days!!!! No live support apparently their licence expired!!! No telephone customer support ring them there is always only answer phone!! BTW their servers are not in UK but in USA. They are The Planet.com resellers.

AWOID LIKE A PLAQUE!!!

Save your self loads of troubles.

Loads of down time. Their up time guarantee is bull sh.t. No guarantee what so ever.
That one single server they have is diabolically slow and overloaded.
Doing a business with one server with 100gb drive is really painful.

“Avagoo took my money and my account was completely...”

Avagoo took my money and my account was completely unworkable, infact I could also access other peoples accounts.
They had a 30 day money back guarantee and I asked for my money back within a week, i then spent 3 weeks continuously emailing and leavving messages. There is only an answerphone when you call and their live help doesnt work either.
finally I wrote to them, someone did sign for my letter but I still never received my refund. I am now about to report them for being a possible fraudulant company.

We joined Avagoo last week after reading reviews. I must say that it is rubbish. We were unable to do anything on it as it is so slow, and it isnt our computer as we tried it on both of our computers. We were also able to access other peoples accounts which didnt seem very safe!
We tried getting a refund via 'livechat' but that doesn't open, we emailed 5 days ago but no reply as of yet and today have tried calling both the sales and support lines and there is just an answer phone message. We therefore still havent got out refund. Totally Rubbish.
