Set up a domain for my sister as a birthday present to get her Interrnet business off the ground. Unfortunately I forgot password and tried to reset it via email and customer services but to no avail. Customer service did not send any link via email to reset password and cannot cancel online. No communication or assistance received in order to do this.. Have received 2 letters demanding payment including threat of passing details to debt collection agency which will attract more fees due to "auto renew" of contract. Not aware of entering "contract" during quick and easy purchase. Have sent email to billing@1&1.co.uk to cancel any further business. Awaiting reply.
It should be made clear that an auto renew of contracts exists and customers should have the right to cancel any business they have with the company via all usual methods ie email, telephone etc.
This is a payment rip off.
