I bought access to two domain names for one year. Clicked through the terms and conditions. Then a bit over a year later I start getting letters from debt collector Arvato wanting payments and "penalty charges". Turns out that in those terms and conditions I had clicked through that I agreed that it can automatically renew the subscription every year. When I changed my credit card and they couldn't deduct money from my account, they then sent the debt collectors after, wanting separate penalty charges for each of the two domains. I hadn't even wanted this service. They threatened to take me to court. 1and1 are unapologetic. Deeply regret giving this unprincipled people my business. Avoid.
