I cannot begin to say how appalling this company is. Their activities are underhand and deceitful at least and at worst are bordering on the criminal.

They make cancelling your account as complex as possible. They attempt to take money from your account without your authority and when you complain they simply dont want to know.

Then, whilst you are still in discussion over a disputed £45 bill they send threatening letters saying if you dont pay up they will send your details to a debt agency.

Finally, after a month (whilst still negotiating with their hopeless customer services) we get a letter from the debt agency. No notification from 1&1 that they had actually pass on our details. Which in itself is a breach of the consumers act....

Please - do NOT use this company !!!!
